Discovered at the bottom of the mountains, in a secluded area, the spring water we tested in the laboratory came out to be perfectly clean, clear, packed with all the electrolytes and as perfectly balanced as water should be. The water was so pure that it inspired us to find the perfect packaging to carry it. After a long research on biodegradable packaging that can contain liquids, we found the most sustainable alternative available at the moment. It’s only a matter of time until the pure water from the Apuseni Mountains enters the water market in a biodegradable container.
Starting as snow and rain at the top of the mountains, the water comes through the untouched lands and forests of the Apuseni Mountains and has been naturally filtered by layers of rocks and earth for centuries, before emerging at the bottom as a spring of pure water that’s free of impurities and chemicals.
Pure & natural from square one: mountain spring water naturally contains electrolytes and minerals, since it’s sourced from an earthy, mineral-rich area. It is also perfectly balanced, for the optimal hydration. Crisp, clean and rejuvenating, it's no wonder it represents the essence of life.
The Coop Network committed to a positive social and environmental impact from day one. Since we won’t add to the worldwide plastic issue, distributing this clean spring water in plastic bottles was never an option. We found our answer in the most sustainable alternative at the moment, a bottle that’s landfill biodegradable. It is produced in the USA and we also plan to patent in Romania, with the goal to find a way towards 100% compostability in the future.
